摘要：
Fundamental problems of modem metrology are considered. It is suggested that problems arising in metrology during the construction of a system of measurement units are resolved at two levels: fundamental (theoretical) and practical. The increasing importance of developing and applying standards based directly on fundamental physical constants is noted.
