摘要
In this paper, we present a least squares method for estimating parameters in a general class of nonlinear size-structured population models. We establish a convergence result for parameter estimates obtained using an implicit finite difference scheme for solving this equation. Finally, we present numerical examples indicating the feasibility of such a method. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
