Modeling of tectonic problems with PAROVOZ: Examples of lithospheric rifting and buckling

摘要
The FLAG technique has shown to be a powerful method for solving many geological and geophysical problems, involving complex rheologies and formation of faults. Here, I show several examples obtained with our program PAROVOZ (based on the FLAC technique): formation of a fractal fracture network, rifting and buckling of the lithosphere. I also discuss several features of our program different from FLAC and some technical difficulties of fault modeling.
