The influence of operating parameters on the behavior of a small diameter L-valve

摘要
A small diameter L-valve was inserted in a circulating fluidized bed loop and operated with three materials of Geldart's group B. The aeration flow rate, the location of aeration tap and the operating temperature, as well as the total solids hold-up and the gas velocity in the riser, were varied in a relatively wide range. A relationship between the pressure drop across the L-valve and the solids discharge flux was obtained by fitting experimental data together with main results available in the literature.
