Velocity/pressure mixed finite element and finite volume formulation with ALE descriptions for nonlinear fluid-structure interaction problems

摘要
In this article, we adopt a mixed upwinding procedure and the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) description to the velocity/pressure (v/p) mixed finite element formulation with high-order mixed elements. With this approach, we are able to accommodate the requirements for both the inf-sup condition and the upwinding technique in one self-adaptive finite element analysis. Some numerical examples are used to confirm the reliability of the formulation. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
