摘要
Serverless computing hides infrastructure management from developers and runs code on-demand automatically scaled and billed only during code's execution time. One of the most popular serverless backend service is called Function-as-a-Service (FaaS), in which developers are many times confronted with cloud-specific requirements mainly due to the usage of specific function signatures and unique libraries. In this work, we introduce QuickFaaS, a multi-cloud interoperability desktop tool targeting cloud-agnostic functions development and FaaS deployments. QuickFaaS substantially improves developer's productivity, flexibility and agility when developing serverless solutions to multiple cloud providers, contributing to vendor lock-in mitigation as well as reducing portability related issues.
