摘要
A new electronic multi-channel system for digital signal processing and data acquisition has been developed for segmented germanium X-ray detectors. In this system, signals from all the detector channels are amplified, sampled, digitized and processed. The goal is to get the energy and time information from all the detector segments referred to the defined trigger stamp. The main advantages of this new read-out electronics are: reduced noise pick-up, low channel-to-channel cross-talk, high reliability, modular structure and low costs. Tests of the read-out electronics and DSP algorithms have been performed. (c) 2006 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
