摘要
This paper describes an analysis of multimode nonlinear operation of a 2-D square lattice photonic crystal (PC) laser considering mode competition. The model is based on the semiclassical approach and coupled-mode theory developed for transverse magnetic laser modes. It is showed that for the PC laser, a single-mode operation is dominant within a wide range of the coupling coefficients.
