摘要
By application of hydro environmental model EFDC in Yangtze Estuary, temporal and spatial variation of dissolved oxygen demand (DO) distribution was obtained by setting up a 3D water quality calculation. Also field observation data were available and compared with the numerical results. Referred to figure 1 and figure 2, it is concluded: the concentration of DO in north branch is much higher than in south branch due to consumption of oxygen in south branch by sewage discharge from Shanghai; The concentration of surface is larger than that of bottom layer; there is a low concentration area below 20m contour line, and high concentration between 20m and 30m contour line; it also prove the EFDC model is of satisfactory accuracy in water quality modeling of Yangtze Estuary.
