Revision of the genus Broxylus Waterhouse (Coleoptera, Lycidae)

A revision of the lycid genus Broxylus Waterhouse, 1879 is presented. Altogether 11 species are included in the genus Broxylus. B. pfeifferi (Waterhouse, 1878) and B. fenestratus (Pic, 1921) are redescribed and the following new species are described: B. jezeki sp. n., B. kalamensis sp. n., B. majeri sp. n., B. orobuensis sp. n., B. pendolensis sp. n., B. pseudofenestratus sp. n., B. tanatorajensis sp. n., and R malinensis sp. n. Broxylus longicollis (Pic, 1922) is combined with Broxylus for the first time. All species are keyed and important diagnostic characters are illustrated. Relationship between species and ecology of Broxylus are discussed.
