摘要
We propose a plasmonic fiber-optic sensor for measuring various water characteristics based on surface plasmon resonance at the interface between nanoparticles and water. Instead of using conventional plasmonic materials like gold and silver, we utilized transition metal nitrides as the plasmonic nanofilms. We examined the sensing performance of the proposed sensor by depositing the nanofilms on a polished region of the optical fiber and using a broadband light source and a detector.
