Fluctuation paraconductivity within the framework of time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau theory

Above the critical temperature T-c the fluctuations of the superconducting order parameter Psi are described within the framework of time-dependent Ginzburg--Landau theory using Langevin's approach of stochastic differential equations. The excess Aslamazov-Larkin conductivity is derived as an important test example for the case of non interacting fluctuations. It is shown at what conditions the kinetic arguments can be successively derived. A fluctuation Hall conductivity sigma(xy)((fl)) and Nernst coefficient v(xy)((fl)) are calculated for the case of weak magnetic field. The comparison with the BCS result by Varlamov and Livanov [A. A. Varlamov and D. V. Livanov, Phys, Lett. A 157, 519(1991)] gives the final determination of all the coefficients of the phenomenological TDGL theory. (C) 1997 Academic Press Limited.
