摘要
This paper presents an electromagnetic analysis of 40 MW high temperature superconducting (HTS) synchronous motor. Combining electric resistivity variation of stator winding in cryogenic environment and critical current of second generation YBCO superconducting tape which is as rotor exciting coil, the characteristics with non-ferromagnetic stator teeth and semi-ferromagnetic stator teeth of the HTS synchronous motor are explored. The influence of different stator winding currents on eddy current losses of the rotor copper shielding sleeve are preliminarily discussed. The model and calculation results were verified from the points of view of electromagnetic parameters, critical current, eddy current loss and electromagnetic torque, respectively. This study has certain reference significance for the research and development of high-power HTS motors.
