摘要：
RelA is generally regarded as an activator of prosurvival gene transcription. However, in this issue of Molecular Cell, Campbell et al. (2004) demonstrate that anticancer drugs turn RelA into an accomplice of apoptosis by instructing it to dominantly repress survival gene transcription.
