摘要
Changes in microstructure of Nd-Fe-Co-B-Ga-Zr and Nd-Dy-Fe-Co-B-Ga-Zr alloys with the intermediate argon (IA) treatment added in the hydrogenation-decomposition-desorption-recombination (HDDR) process were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It was found that during the IA treatment only alpha-(Fe,Co) grains grow rapidly and NdH2 particles almost keep their initial size. Selected area electron diffraction (SAED) analysis reveals that preferred orientation alignment of the alpha-(Fe,Co) grains is improved by the IA treatment. It is suggested that the rapid growth of alpha-(Fe,Co) grains during the IA treatment leads the recombined Nd-2(Fe,Co)(14)B fine grains to improve the alignment of c-axes, and therefore to achieve a significant magnetic anisotropy.
