Analytic numerical modeling for thermal mechanical processing of plate under rolling

摘要
In order to predict the microstructures of the hot-rolled plate product, an analytic numerical model for plate under hot rolling is presented. In the method, the analytic expressions of temperature, rolling pressure and strain rate are derived from corresponding governing differential equations and evaluated by numerical techniques, and the solutions are incorporated with the mathematical model of microstructure evolution. The model is verified by a simulation of an experimental aluminum plate hot rolling and employed to simulate an industrial 13-pass rolling of Q235B steel plate with spray descaling and on-line cooling. Some computed results are compared with measured data, and good coincidences are obtained Compared with finite element method, the model takes very short time in computation and can be easily applied to simulate mufti-pass rolling.
