摘要
This document outlines design paradigms that facilitate the construction of agent-based systems. By constraining the interaction of agents to a pure message exchange system, a clear distinction of agents to programs as well as a classification of agents is possible without abandonning the power of agent design. Mie present details on our agent system AMETAS that is implemented in Java. Finally some techniques are introduced that allow the definition of a type system for agents.
