Design of a mobile multimedia communication platform (MMCP) in Special Education

摘要
Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have become increasingly important in the educational field. The need to communicate efficiently is essential in modern society. The aim of our intervention proposal is to design a technological tool that allows fluid and bidirectional communication in real time. We have started from the basis of shared involvement and responsibility, of the capacity to foster the relationships established between all the environments in which children with disabilities interact in their socio-educational development from the early stages. This proposal contains a strong commitment to help make visible the disabled student groups and has been carried out through documentary analysis in order to improve the production process of educational communication channels and the subsequent validation of these criteria. In this project, 30 experts participated from different disciplines related to the creation of MMCPs. Specifically, the experts were teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, hearing and language specialists, physiotherapists, extracurricular monitors, family members, multimedia designers, educational content designers and specialists in computer application design. The implementation of the MMCP was carried out in a state-funded inclusive school, in the primary education stage and specifically in the Second Cycle.
