A highly sensitive glucose biosensor was prepared based on the Prussian Blue modified electrode combined with SiO2 Sol-Gel immobilization method in a "sandwich configuration". Its electrochemical characterization and related experiment conditions have been studied in detail. The optimum detection potential is -0.05 V at pH 6.5. Under selected conditions the sensor offered high sensitivity of 1.182 muA/mol. L-1, a linear range of 0 similar to 5 mmol/L and a detection limit of 0.02 mmol/L. The response time is 12 s. The sensor remains 90% of its response after using 45 days. Both sensitivity and selectivity of the biosensor were ideal.
