GPS architect - A development system for global positioning system receiver design

摘要
The GPS Architect is a development system specifically designed for Global Positioning System (GP) receiver design where a GPS receiver function needs to be embedded within navigation and tracking products at low cost. This paper presents an introduction to the GPS system and an overview of the product - a 12-channel parallel-tracking GPS Receiver Development Platform based on GEC Plessey Semiconductors' GP2000 chipset, including the ARM Reduced Instruction Set processor. The GPS Architect is supplied with all GPS software in 'C' source code for acquiring and tracking satellites at low cost-of-ownership.
