摘要
The filtration and separation of dust particles are influenced by different parameters. These parameters can be classified in particle properties like material of particles. particle size distribution, state of particle charge, etc.: parameters of filtration like filter face velocity, dust concentration, pressure drop, etc, and properties of fitter media and filter elements. Some of these parameters have strong influence on the fractional grade efficiency and pressure drop of filters and filter media. The knowledge of these aspects is very important for the development of filter media and filter elements. One point is to know about the theory of these aspects, the other to evaluate the most suitable test equipment. The right test equipment is the essential requirements for testing filters and filter media in a practical way and also to get results which are correct and reproducible. Moreover these results are necessary for developing filters. In this paper, some aspects of filter test procedures, filter test equipment, design and results will be presented.
