The Colombian Left in the World Communist media (1950-1990)

In the article that is based on the content of publications of the newspaper "For a Lasting peace, for a People ' s democracy!" (published in Belgrade and later in Bucharest) and the journal "Problems of Peace and Socialism" (the Russian version of "International Review") which were spokesmen for pro-Soviet international communism in the period from 1950 to 1990 the author reveals several main features of how the activities of the Colombian left were perceived by the communists in the world. By exploring different historical stages, the author reaches the conclusion about the influence of several factors in the interpretation of the daily life of the Colombian PC in the communist press outside of Colombia.
