摘要
In order to better understand the influence of a natural disaster, such as a wildfire, on the hydrologic properties and the related risks of a region we proceeded in creating DEM (Digital Elevation Model) derived spatial models, in combination with RS (Remote Sensing) data. Using GIS, in particular the two-dimensional table technique, we manipulated the acquired information giving different importance to the layers. Derived runoff resistance maps are classified in four classes (low, moderate, moderate high, high). Comparing these maps, before and after the wildfire, it is observed that the low resistance areas are more extended after the fire, than before. These observations show clearly that the area became of high risk in soil erosion, mainly in the higher parts of the basin, and in flood hazards, mainly in the lower parts of the basin, close to its outlet and the town of Rafina.
