摘要
3D household products online display system is a real-time interactive platform used in electronic business affairs, which can provide more intuitive understanding of commodities for buyers. Currently there is few e-commerce website providing 3D model displays. Some websites which claim to provide 3D model displays just stay in the flash stage. This paper presents a new 3D household products display system design concept -- web2.0 based user-generated 3D model displays. There are two advantages of the system. One is that no 3D engine plug-in is needed for e-commerce website. The other is that no advanced professional training is needed on 3D model creation. Non-IT-professional online shop sellers can build 3D models for their products by themselves. The detailed 3D modeling process is introduced in this paper. The results are effective and promising.
