摘要
Three novel binuclear high spin cobalt(II) complexes containing two bis(o-semiquinonato) cobalt fragments bridged by tetradentate N-donor ligand (1,2-bis(pyridin-2-ylmethylene) hydrazine) were synthesized. The complexes differ one from another by substituents in the o-semiquinonato ligands. The obtained complexes were characterized by IR-spectroscopy and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. Crystalline and molecular structures of complex bearing the anion-radical of 4,5-(N,N'-piperazino)-3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-quinone was established by X-ray structural analysis. According to obtained magnetic data all complexes demonstrate antiferromagnetic ligand-ligand, metal-ligand and metal-metal exchange interactions. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
