摘要
Water-logging in urban area is a phenomenon of water catastrophe because of rainstorm or continuous rainfall which exceeds the urban's drainage capacity. At present, the monitoring and detection on urban's water-logging rely a great deal on climate information. In this paper, we propose an IoT based water monitoring system that estimates water level progressively. Our system will operate with the water level sensor to indicate water level and GPS Module to specify which area of the city is water-logged due to heavy rainfall. This model depends on thought that the degree of the water can be a significant parameter with regards to the water-logging events particularly in a fiasco inclined place. In this paper, the method of water level monitoring and prediction is the use of wireless sensors powered by the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. A water level sensor and an Ultrasonic sensor is utilized to distinguish the ideal parameter, and if the water level arrives at the parameter, the sign will be a channel in real-time to a website that has been created. A cloud server was arranged as an information storehouse. The estimation of the water levels is shown in the remote dashboard and also in google map, the location of the streets will be pointed. The system has been developed to build up a smart street for the urban city for smooth working of the human day by day existence with forestalling wastage of vitality in a low budget.
