Nurses' attitudes towards HIVAIDS, patients (by Maryona Kushleikaite, Alghimantas Kirkutis, Vita Anulite, Onute Rugavicene, Arturas Razbadauskas) examines attitudes of people (questionnaires embracing 90 nurses in Taurage, Lithuania) most often contacting HIV infected persons and knowledgeable about it. The finding confirms the fact of ample knowledge about HIV/AIDS including ways of infection spread. Some 43 per cent would not change their attitude to the relatives, friends or colleagues in case they got infected, 71 per cent stated they would not refuse treating and caring for respective patients, while 76 per cent thought that people with HIV and AIDS conditions have right to be treated and cared for like any other patients.
