摘要
Decisions about the design concept for a new high technology system involve on the one hand trade-offs between various functionality aspects and on the other hand huge uncertainties over the outcome of a design path that may involve a commitment of large funds to develop novel technology. We look at the use of:weights to combine sources of subjective information within the decision making process, and at the extent to which this kind of information has an interpretation within a multi-attribute framework.
