摘要
The long-term filtration and cleaning behaviour and hence the service-life of cleanable filters (e. g. bag filters) are strongly dependant on the properties of the filter surface and it's structure. Using a new procedure and laboratory set-up for the testing of cleanable filter media (according to VDI/DIN guideline 3926 "Testing of Filter Media") this can be demonstrated and evaluated with little effort and low costs. As a basis for the comparison and evaluation of different filter samples the development of characteristic data is recorded over a number of cycles, such as: residual pressure drop, residual dust mass inside and on the filter, duration of filtration cycles and the clean-gas concentration. In addition also from the shape of the pressure drop curve information can be derived concerning the long-term performance of the filter media.
