摘要：
Thanks to their self-emission properties and the possibility of manufacturing large-area devices; electroluminescent chromophores and polymers are paving the way toward the introduction of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and displays. OLEDs have the potential to compete against today's established LCD technology, while opening up opportunities for a range of revolutionary applications.
