The essay suggests 'the swerve' as an analytical metaphor useful for researchers and theorists engaged in building the future of STS studies. What is suggested is to shape one's own "swerving methodology", presented as a "reflective practice" adopted in the comparison with objects, with research questions and STS epistemologies.
