Seasonal variation of diurnal evolution of solar radiation at the surface in the City of Sao Paulo, Brazil

摘要
The seasonal variation of the diurnal evolution of the global, diffuse and direct solar radiation, clearness index, diffuse and direct fractions are described in detail for the City of S (a) over tildeo Paulo, the largest urban environment located in the subtropical region of Brazil. This description is based on measurements of global and diffuse solar radiation carried out during 5.25 years, in an experimental site located in the City of S (a) over tildeo Paulo, Brazil. The annual evolution of amplitude of the diurnal cycle indicated a seasonal pattern with two distinct periods: Fall-Winter and Spring-Summer.
