Let F-q be a finite field, G a finite cyclic group of order p(k) and p an odd prime with gcd(q,p) = 1. In this article, we determine an explicit expression for the primitive idempotents of F(q)G. This result extends the results in [1,2,8]. (C) 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
