摘要
For a company not to seek to deploy Internet of Things solutions in today's market would be like companies in the 1970's deciding not to deploy computer systems. Seeking out new technologies and deploying them for competitive advantage is a key priority for any organization. The IoT promise to change the way we work. After IoT solutions as next step the adoption and use of Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technologies will be a competitive necessity for many industries. LPWA is a key component of a wider IoT technology wave. In this paper the authors respond to the needs of some "isolated" factories in Romania to develop a device with whom the manufacturing process and energy management can be improved. LPWA technology is used to resolve the data transmission between involved parts.
