摘要：
Most modern PCs have an enhanced parallel port (EPP), which allows data exchange between the PC and laboratory instruments at a rate of several hundreds of kilobytes per second with minimal additional efforts. The operation of a parallel port in this mode is considered here. An 8-bit controller circuit for interfacing with a PC using an EPP and for automation of relatively simple experiments is presented. Software examples are given.
