RETRACTED: Statistical comparison between the alternatives of love in the poems of Sa'adi and Moulana (Retracted article. See AUG, 2023)

Love is the main subject in mystical literature. Many Persian poets focused on this subject. In this research, all the lines in Divan of Moulana and Bustan of Sa'adi were considered. First, the words that have been employed as the alternatives of the word love were categorized into twelve parts. Then, we explored which words and categories had most uses in the poems of these two poets. The results indicated that Moulana and Sa'adi usually used the word fire (Moulana), the words fire and pain (Sa'adi), the category human (Moulana) and the categories sickness, human as the alternatives of love. Finally, we compared the applied alternatives of love in poems of these poets. To this purpose, the chi-square test was applied. The results showed that the applied alternatives of love in poems of these poets were significantly different.
