A method for assessing the automobilization impact on population morbidity

摘要
A correlation is established between the level of automobilization and the number of killed and injured people; the number of damaged vehicles, cargo, road structures and other property; the growth in aggressive and inadequate behavior of road users; dissatisfaction of citizens with the condition of roads and traffic management; misplaced stops and overmileage of vehicles; excessive fuel consumption by motor vehicles; pollution of the environment by vehicles; increased noise and other factors which are harmful to human health and society. Recently, the negative aspects of automobilization have essentially acquired a global character. A statistical relationship between the level of automobilization, the frequency of vehicle use and population morbidity is established and its type is determined. The influence of automobilization parameters on population morbidity is proved. The influence of the number of registered light motor vehicles on the number of malignant neoplasms and mental disorders related to stress, as well as on the share of citizens aged 16 and older with obesity is established.
