摘要
This paper aims at the design, control and implementation of single stage solar photovoltaic (PV) array fed induction motor drive for water pumping. The control strategy used for motor control, is a sensorless direct torque control with space vector modulation technique, which has the advantages of having simple control and reduced requirement of motor parameters. The sensorless technique curtails the cost of overall system and improves the performance of the drive. The speed is estimated by stationary fluxes in all domain, which are also subsequently used for reference torque estimation. The reference speed is estimated by the power component of PV array together with the controller output of DC bus voltage. The proposed system is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment for wide range of insolation variation and the suitability of the system is verified by experimental results obtained on a developed prototype in the laboratory.
