摘要
This paper aims to put in contrast two modern and contemporain rationalist philosopher's theories of language: Habermas and Spinoza, respectively. Therefore, it tries to emphasize that, far away from being at ends of the abyss, both thinkers would share a close position. By this way, the article will procede to elucidate Habermas and Spinoza's position in relation to intentionality, language and democracy.
