Synthesis of new 1,5-benzothiazepines containing 2-phenyl-1,2,3-triazole and their β-lactams derivatives

1, 5-benzothiazepines containing 2-phenyl-1, 2, 3-triazole (2a similar to 2e) were synthesized from alpha, beta-unsaturated ketones and 2-aminothiophenol. The benzothiazepines could undergo [2 + 2] cycloaddition. reaction with ketenes generated in situ to give a series of beta-lactams derivatives. The structure of products were established by IR, H-1 NMR, MS spectroscopy and elementary analysis.
