Analyze the Application of Virtual Reality in Interior Design

In China, millions of houses need to be renovated every year. However, many problems exist in the current renovation process, especially in the interior design process. With the development of virtual reality, some of these problems can be solved. In this article, the author analyzed the people's needs and problems in the current interior design process based on previous research. Then research and products of virtual reality for interior design were discussed to see how do current virtual reality applications solve these problems and limits of current virtual reality application in this field. Finally, based on the analysis, a prototype of virtual reality implementation in interior design was designed.
