A new subgenus Aureoconops of the genus Physoconops and six new species of Conopidae are described: Physoconops (Aureoconops) aureolus from Peru; P. (Pachyconops) thompsoni from the Bahamas; P. (Kroeberoconops) argentinus from Argentina: Zodion chavalai from Argentina; Zodion bellum from Mexico; and Stylogaster parrilloi from Costa Rica.
