摘要
The traditional method monitoring drought is using data acquired from field survey, which is not fit for large area drought monitoring. Instead, remote sensing technique can be an effective and alternate way. With the development of the remote sensing technique, the monitor of large-scale drought becomes more and more popular. This paper uses MODIS data (NDVI product) to calculate Anomaly Vegetation Index (AVI). According to the result, we analyzes drought occurring in Ningxia province from May to August of 2001-2005.
