摘要
Reading is one of the important indicators to measure the mastery degree of comprehensive English ability by college students and has always been addressed by students and teachers. At present, the teaching model of English reading at in colleges and universities in China has been reformed and achieved some results. But how to further improve the reading ability of students and improve their learning efficiency has become the focus of teachers. In this paper, the author analyzes the application of textual metaphor in the college English reading teaching in detail for the references of relevant personnel.
