摘要：

Culture-negative endocarditis raises suspicion for many organisms, including Bartonella. Of the Bartonella species that have been known to cause culture-negative endocarditis, Bartonella quintana and Bartonella henselae are the most common. Presented here is a case of a 43-year-old man with infective endocarditis caused by B henselae presenting with profound anemia.
