摘要：
The smart-phone community has focused on bringing the full, rich Web experience to mobile phones, to improve the experience of browsing the Web's rich content using a smart phone. The competition to provide the best application development tools and platform has been great for consumers and developers. Smart-phone phone application developers are making choices between several incompatible application platforms, supported on the largest number of devices. Web application developers are hopeful that the W3C and other standards bodies will be able to create a consistent application platform for desktop computers and smart phones. The W3C and some of the most important mobile browser developers, including Apple, and Nokia, are actively involved in the evolution, based on WebKit core as an important part of the iPhone and S60 platforms.
