摘要
Skywave Over-the-horizon backscatter radar (OTHR) has great potentiality to detect such targets as cruise missile, stealth aircraft, powered trajectory of ballistic missile and aircraft carrier in long distance at the same time. This paper evaluates the detectability of OTHR to detect small target though experimental research and emulation calculation, then brings forward the direction of improvement and exploration to some shortages of this radar. Also, this text inquires into several key considerations of this system for synthetic design of cost and effect.
