RETRACTED: Therapeutic and protective effect of two luminescent 3D Cd(II) compounds on heart failure via high-intensity focused ultrasound (Retracted article. See vol. 1277, 2023)

Two Cd(II) compounds, namely, [Cd(pdc)(H2O)](n) (1) and [Cd(pdc)(MeOH)](n )(2) (H(2)pdc = terephthalic acid, MeOH = methanol), were successfully synthesized under the hydrothermal condition of H(2)pdc and Cd(NO3)(2)center dot 4H(2)O in different solvents. Compounds 1 and 2 show intense luminescent emission bands under room temperature. The application values of these compounds on heart failure via high-intensity focused ultrasound was evaluated, and the specific principle was studied. First, enzyme linked immune sorbent assay was conducted, and the number of inflammatory cytokines delivered by the cardiomyocytes was determined. In addition, the relative expression of adhesion molecule-1 in cardiomyocytes was determined via real time RT-PCR after indicated compound treatment.
