A Research on the Industry-University Cooperation Platforms from the Perspective of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

In the independent innovation processes of SMEs, technological innovation is often given a high degree of attention, while the importance of technological innovation platform is usually ignored. This paper firstly analyzes the status quo of the cooperation of industry and university from the perspective of R&D in SMEs based on field investigation, and compares the successful modes of cooperation; and then proposed to build a government-led "five in one" type of SMEs innovative platform to facilitate te industry-university cooperation. The author argues that technological innovation and development based on the cooperation among enterprises, universities, and research institutes can only be achieved with the supports of an effective cooperation platform. This paper may contribute to promote sustainable corporate development of SMEs based on industry-university cooperation.
