Semi-automatic construction of Thesaurus applying Domain Analysis techniques

Domain Analysis has been considered in the last years as a new, technique oriented to software reuse processes. However, this technique has not yet been related with Library Sciences. In this paper, a specific methodology of Domain Analysis is presented; this methodology uses a structure, the Software Thesaurus (developed from descriptors thesauri), as a repository to store the information regarding a specific domain. Using this methodology the domain representation can be constructed semi-automatically and therefore, a Thesaurus is built. Finally, some experiments and results are presented.
